Avalon - On April 17, on a 25 mph windy day, I saw one of the weed-control companies spraying a few properties a couple blocks away from our street. As I drove by, I could see the poison liquid blowing all over the place. This company even sprayed 3 inches out into the street, onto the stream of water that was running into the storm grate, into the bay. The state Department of Environmental Protection has strict guidelines against poison applicators spraying unless it is calm. It is also illegal to spray poison onto streets, or running water. We alerted the police, twice, but they did not come to even watch, let alone stop this.
