Avalon - Affordable housing seems an area ripe for disruption. The prior generations had their Levittowns. Big home builders seem only interested in building mansions for rich Gen Xers. We could wait a long while for government to figure it out. In the meantime, there seems a lot of room for sensible housing construction, maybe near public transit, with payments near what young people pay in rent nowadays, with room left over for a good profit. Yes, I know the down payment, but every generation had to deal with that. A better option for some than an old condo. I'd disrupt it myself if I wasn't so busy.
