Wildwood - Yes everyone realizes the police were not equipped to handle the chaos over the weekend, the point is WHY, when they had advance notice? This ‘event’ should have been stopped on Thursday from the moment these reckless people came speeding into town shattering eardrums and using Rio Grande Ave as a dragstrip. Instead the chaos was allowed to continue until finally two innocent people paid with their lives! Why did it take 3 days to do something? The handling of this debacle was a complete failure on every level. We are sickened.
