Wildwood Crest - The ironic Stone Harbor spouter is correct that the WHO has now said masks are not needed unless you have symptoms. However, the Center for Disease Control disagrees with the WHO. A new study from the CDC suggests that wearing masks could cut COVID-19 cases if worn at an 80% rate. "Masking at 80% adoption flattens the curve more than maintaining a strict lock down,” a group of international researchers wrote in the study. I'd prefer a mask to this lock down because businesses could then open safely. The virus is a medical problem and Trump's attempt to make it political only makes it worse.
