Villas - Have you noticed that after kids are ruined by bad parenting that they send the now teens to go live with their grandparents? It actually should be the opposite. Grandparents teach with love and show kids how to be respectful because most are respectful and honest. I know my theory works. I've seen it with my students. The kids get their morals from grandparents, whereas dysfunctional parents teach with anger, name calling and grounding, which only makes a mean child, and even worse, a drug-addicted teen. If a parent then takes over when the kid is about 15, positive groundwork is already in place.
