Ocean View - My friends that are bus drivers are bringing two bus loads of Afghan and other immigrants to be housed in Avalon. The government is seeking to commandeer as many as 50 homes. Owners to be compensated. The drivers are getting up to $3,000 extra for this action. Rumor or fact? Welcome all.
Moderator's Note:
Avalon officials would know of any attempt to commandeer 50 homes in the borough. They say the rumor is false. They also say there is no attempt to house Afghan refugees in the borough.
