Jeeeze I know it's turtle season and it's very DANGEROUS to stop

Lower Township - Jeeeze I know it's turtle season and it's very DANGEROUS to stop on a main highway to save them, but going down the parkway the other day I saw a car crush one up ahead of us..... I had really hard time getting the vision out of my mind, then there were quite a few on the way back... isn't there something we can do to help them through their crossing of the roads period? Can't imagine how that person feels that actually hit it.....
