Diamond Beach - The concern over shortcutting the 109 roundabout going north to the parkway is understating the real danger at that intersection. Those drivers heading east on rt109 to go south 1/4 mile to turn left onto Ocean Drive must merge at times with 2 lanes of southbound parkway traffic going 50mph and cross over 3 lanes to get into the far left turning light at the bridge. Insane. Allow right turn at the parkway traffic light for direct access into the left lane for Ocean Drive. Much safer. The work on that roundabout a few years ago reduced visibility and increased the danger.
