Court House - Why are middle school 8th graders getting another project this time of the year? My child just informed me that each student was issued a state and they have to do a three-panel poster about the state, a written project and also provide a food from that state for at least 60 students to sample. School is over in two weeks and my child is an A+ student. Why is this being assigned now? Some parents may not even have the resources to provide what is needed to feed their own families and now they have to make food for 60 students to sample.
