Sincerely hope the words of the speakers at this year’s Memorial

Cape May - Sincerely hope the words of the speakers at this year’s Memorial Day Ceremony in CM remember that this is a very solemn and important day for our nation as well as to the many families who have lost loved ones in service to our country. The key word here is “Memorial”. A repeat of last year’s lengthy speeches listing city projects, etc. during the ceremony was not appropriate. Please keep your words and focus on things like duty, honor, country, humility, and sacrifice.
