Cape May - History holds many wonderful and tragic events. Some of The Herald's readership will remember where we were when JFK was assassinated. Many will recall where they were when Space Shuttle Challenger exploded. All of us remember where we were on January 6th.

Personally, I recall that for 3 hours, Pres. Trump, the person with complete authority to stop a rally turned violent attack on our capitol, did nothing. Despite his advisors, cabinet, republican legislators, and even his children pleading to do so. Shouldn't our President at least possess compassion and empathy? Not then, nor now.
