Court House - When we were young, Christmas Eve was just a normal day around our house, so much so that we kids worried that nothing was going to happen. And then the magic happened. After we went to bed our father would put up the Christmas tree, decorations, lights, complete with train set and wrapped presents under the tree all under the “guise” that Santa came after we went to bed. We awoke to a world transformed, with blinking lights, model trains running, Christmas carols playing on the “record player”, presents, and stacks of hot pancakes and sausage. How I miss those days, and that man.
