Avalon - Was Freeholder Pierson serious with his reply when asked when the county would reopen? When asked about a schedule for reopening the county, Pierson said, “The governor marches to his own drummer.” He then qualified his comment by noting that the governor must make decisions based on the whole state. Why is it that these Freeholders are pushing the governor to open everything in cape May county but not for county employees to return to work?
